Each of our products are offered in a range of materials. We only use the most premium materials that are ethically sourced.
WOOD- We only use SOLID Teak wood and Sungkei wood, which is sealed with an oil-based finish. For all outdoor products, we use a solid teak sealed with a water-based finish.
*Sungkei wood for sizes 120cm and above will be veneer option
MARBLE- We use premium European marbles that are either polished or honed and left unsealed.
LACQUER- We use a strong polyurethane lacquer finish over a solid plywood substrate.
METAL- We use a mild steel that is double powder coated.
LEATHER- We use top grade Italian leather for our cushions, and top grade Indonesian leather for our thicker leather sling seats.
Please read below for further information regarding our material characteristics and care.

certified solid Teak wood or Sunkei wood that is harvested legally (SVLK Certified). SVLK is Indonesia's verification system to ensure sustainable forest management, which is internationally recognised in the EU, Americas and Australia/NZ. All of our wood tops are solid 3cm thick, thicker than the average wood top.
As teak is a natural product each piece will vary in colour and grain.
We use an oil-based clear finish/sealer, so the natural wood will show (water-based for outdoor teak). We cannot guarantee each piece will be the same colour, much like how 2 people will never be identical. Our white & grey-washed teak is even more varied as it is whitewashed by hand. Please see images above to see the variations of each wood colour.
*Solid wood can expand and contract in response to temperature changes. Small surface cracks may occur and are a normal part of the characteristics of the wood. Please avoid extreme temperature variations, placing your furniture outside (if made for indoor), in direct sunlight, or directly underneath any air-conditioning vents or heaters.
*If the item is too hot to hold in your hand, it is too hot to place on the timber. Please use a coaster or plate before placing hot items.
*It is recommended to wipe spills immediately. Please use a combination of mild soap and water to clean the wood surface. Use a soft cloth to wipe the surface in the direction of the grain, and do not use any metal scrubbers. If you use a detergent it needs to be non-corrosive, and suitable for cleaning wood.
ADDITIONAL WOOD MAINTAINANCE
*For additional maintenance, we recommend sealing over time. You should use a clear oil based furniture sealer. Apply polish evenly with a soft cloth.
*If you do experience any significant cracking, a simple wood cement filler will do the trick, such as Sellys Plastic wood. Carefully fill the cracks with the product, wiping any excess, then once dry you can stain the filled area with a teak coloured stain marker. If you are unsure how to apply the product, please engage a specialist.
*Do not leave wood in direct sunlight, as this can change the colour.
A water based sealer is applied for protection (oil based for indoor teak). Please note outdoor teak will naturally grey over time. Covering outdoor teak when not in use or placing it out of direct sunlight will protect it from the elements.
OUTDOOR WOOD MAINTAINANCE
To avoid greying over time, sand the surface and apply a UV-stable exterior grade oil every 6-12 months (ie. decking oil).
We powdercoat all of our metals, which is a dry finishing process covering the raw metal in a smooth colour. We have 5 colours to choose from.
Our metal is welded and moulded by hand. We do not use any machines to make our metal products. Because of this you may see some handmade lumps, bumps and inconsistencies in the paint on the surface. This is not a defect but a characteristic of our handmade product.
Please note metal used for outdoor pieces will fade naturally over time.
*Wipe with a soft cloth and water.
*Wipe off all excess water immediately.
*Use an anti-rust spray on any outdoor metal that has chipped to prevent rust.
We import our marbles from Europe, and offer a black veined polished and honed white Carrara marble as standard options.
*Please note there are many varying characteristics to its grain. You may see some surface cracks on the grain, this is not a flaw but a characteristic of this marble.
*We do not seal any of our marbles, as we want to leave the marble in its natural state. If you are concerned about long-term spills, please apply an appropriate sealant. Please consult a specialist to make the application.
*As marble is porous, all food and liquid can stain the surface and should be wiped away immediately. Do not use rough cloths to wipe the marble, as it can scratch the surface. Use a non-corrosive cleaning liquid or an appropriate marble cleaner, and wipe with a damp cloth in a circular motion. Then use a soft dry cloth to wipe any excess liquid.
*We recommend using a coaster or placemat before placing items on marble
We upholster our seating in the Maharam Mode Range fabric range and local Indonesian fabrics. If you would like an alternative fabric colour from the range, please email us with your request. Additional surcharge/timeframe may apply.
We use top grade Italian and lndonesian leather for all of our leather upholstery. Please let us know if you would like any of the products in an alternative colour.
We use thick hide leather for our seats. It can tend to feel hard in certain places as leather is a natural product, and will stretch and lower over time when in use. As leather is natural it may not sit perfectly straight when stretched across metal. This further enhances the uniqueness.
*Dust leather furniture on a regular basis to help the leather breathe & last longer.
*Do not clean leather with water as this may leave marks and change the texture.
*Use a quality leather cleaner, carefully following the instructions on the product.
*If unsure- test the product on a small area hidden from view.
Our products are made for indoor use unless stated otherwise. All items can be made for outdoor use, and are designed with gaps between the wood slates.
